QA Engineer – Frontend Testing & Platform Quality

We’re looking for a QA Engineer to join our cross-functional product teams and ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality software across a growing B2B platform. You’ll write and run automated frontend tests, contribute to better QA processes, and collaborate closely with developers and product managers – from first concepts to final delivery.

This role is based in Mannheim, with 3 days/week on site. You’ll join a collaborative environment with modern tooling, agile workflows, and a strong commitment to product excellence.

What you’ll do

• Ensure quality and stability of platform features by reviewing documentation and performing thorough testing

• Write and maintain automated frontend tests using Playwright and JavaScript/TypeScript

• Act as an embedded QA within the development teams – identifying bugs, risks, and improvement areas early

• Support test planning, contribute to release readiness, and assist in risk assessment activities

• Help improve QA workflows and toolchains in a fast-paced agile setup

• Keep technical documentation and release notes clear, current, and useful for internal and external stakeholders

What you bring

• Experience in QA or Software Testing, with a solid understanding of testing strategies and principles

• Hands-on skills in frontend test automation, ideally with Playwright or similar frameworks

• Ability to work with JavaScript/TypeScript in test contexts

• Familiarity with Git and agile software development processes

• Strong attention to detail and passion for high-quality user experiences

• Structured thinking and a collaborative mindset

• Fluent in English, German is a plus
